Ed Milliband isn't up to the job

Janet Daley in the Telegraph, talking about a recent You Gov poll showing that only 27 percent of people think Ed Milliband is up to the job of being Labour leader:

Mr Miliband is almost certainly going to join his mentor Neil Kinnock as one of history’s unelectable political leaders: a man the country had made up its mind about at an early stage – and then never had cause to regret its decision.

I don’t like the tone of this piece, but I agree with the primary point. The Labour Party has elected the wrong leader; more specifically, the wrong brother. Ed just doesn’t have what it takes. He comes across as weak and gives no clear indication at all of what alternative he’d bring to the country. I’d be completely amazed if the UK ever makes him Prime Minister.

Will the Labour Party have the courage to rectify the mistake?
